About Us

Hello! Here we are, drinking cocktails last year, before anyone had ever heard of COVID-19.

Two sisters, born and raised in Yorkshire, with a shared love of sourcing the perfect gifts for our special people and a passion for being creative, shopping small and supporting local wherever possible.

Lockdown really made us think about what the future looks like for us and our children. And having both recently left our jobs for different ‘flexibility’ related reasons, we wanted to build something new that we were really passionate about.

Our backgrounds are in marketing and sales but OOO Gifts (or ‘Out of the Ordinary’ for its Sunday name) is born out of our shared struggles in finding those ‘just right’ gift items when we need them. Having found it difficult ourselves in the past, we want to make it quick, easy and enjoyable for our customers to find or create truly unique and thoughtful gifts for friends and loved ones. Gifts which really speak to the recipient and are matched to the different personalities of the people in our lives.

Our products are carefully hand-picked from our network of amazing small business suppliers and they have been combined to create the perfect gift boxes for even those most difficult to buy for people. We've started local to begin with, sourcing our first boxes from some amazing Yorkshire folk. But we are always on the look out for new products and suppliers who fit in with our vision. 

We’re designing gifts based on people and personalities rather than occasions and we truly hope you love them as much as we do!
